The 2030 Green Plan

Under the Singapore Green Plan 2030, hotels are guided by the Hotel Sustainability Roadmap to build a greener future.

Key commitments:

  • Carbon tracking: All hotels must measure and report emissions from 2023.

  • Certification: At least 60% certified by 2025 under global standards (e.g., GSTC, EarthCheck, Green Key).

  • Waste reduction: Cut single-use plastics, recycle more, and manage food waste responsibly.

  • Energy efficiency: Adopt smart systems, renewables, and efficient appliances.

  • Water savings: Use conservation fixtures, rainwater harvesting, and recycling.

  • Green sourcing: Choose eco-friendly supplies and sustainable food.

  • Guest participation: Encourage visitors to support initiatives like towel reuse and carbon offsets.

Goal: A hotel sector that achieves net-zero emissions by 2050, making Singapore a leader in sustainable tourism.

Standardizing the aircon temperature

Modern Air Conditioner

We have sensors around the hotel to help adjust and standardize the temperature in all areas that has air-conditioning depending on the detected body heat.

Reuse water in washrooms

Water that is used to wash your hands, are reused to flush the toilets, saving on our water resources. Water coolers are allocated throughout the hotel, encouraging guests to refill with the hotel's biodegradeable water bottles. 

Growing our on produce

Our garden not only has a composting program to help our produce grow well with enough nutrients, but our chefs also come down here to harvest what they need to make your meals!

Making soap from scraps

We are repurposing soap bars by either recycling leftover soap scraps into new bars or using scrapers to carve decorative layers of handmade soap for guest to use. We even have workshops for them to have a go and experience it.​

Biodegradeable Packaging

All our hotel room's amenities such as shampoo bottles, toothbrush packaging & etc. are made of biodegradeable materials. Our biodegradable packaging in your room reflects our commitment to sustainability, while bringing a natural, thoughtful touch to your stay.
